We tend to not want to be like our parents when they are older (at least I don't), so I am going on this journey to release all those things that may bring me to that point.
This is a blog about my life, my thoughts and my unwarranted opinions. If you have anything to say nice or not, then please comment so I can reply sarcastically.

It's Day 3

I am so tired of the Olympics and it started less than a week ago. It's bad enough we just got over the football season and the dreaded Super Bowl, and now the Olympics. I can't stand it! You would think with the over 100 channels on Direct TV that there would be something on that I would want to watch.

I find myself watching The Food Network over and over and I'm so tired of Rachel Ray already. She also has her Rachel Ray show on the network that is showing the Olympics so at least I get a "RR" break for a bit. Don't get me wrong, I like watching The Food Network, but have I cooked one thing from that channel? No! I just watch and watch. I think it's some sort of brain washing experiment as I don't know of many people that have cooked anything they have seen on that network. I have a lot of friends like me that watch and watch and never make anything we "learn" on there.

It's kind of like YouTube, you get sucked in by one video and then an hour later your still watching videos of some hamster running in his cage. Yeah, I watched a whole two minutes of that. I got done watching and couldn't figure out why I had watched this little rat looking animal running around. It amazes me what some people will post on there. I know it's one thing to take pictures or videos of your pets, but who thinks that a hamster running around in a cage is entertaining. Oh wait, I guess I do, I watched the whole two minute video.

It's Day 2

My Nephew is 17 and is afraid to drive. What teenager is afraid to drive? I guess its better that one kid is not on the roads with the little rug rats driving. This generation is completely without knowing what consequences are. I guess it's the parents fault, no I don't guess, I know it is. Punish the parents first and then the kids.

Anyway, my Sister asked me to take my Nephew to work. I don't mind that because again, one less kid on the road. He has to be to work at 8am. So being a responsible adult I get him there at about 10 minutes before 8. We wait and wait and wait. His boss shows up to open the doors at 8:30. What boss tells their employees to be there at 8am and doesn't get there until 8:30? I bet he wonders why his productivity is down and his employees don't listen, why should they when he himself is not being responsible.

He's older than myself and must not have learned consequences either. Well, I guess his consequence will be less income for himself because his employees won't care if they are working hard as their own boss doesn't seem to care and he is the owner. Off to find out what great things are in store for me today (insert sarcasm here).

It's Day 1

Don't let the fancy blog background and header fool you. It was one that I happened across and thought a black crow would be fitting for myself. I am going to title my posts day 1, day 2 and so on. That doesn't mean that I will post everyday, those numbers are for me, not for you, so I will write when I want to. I'm tired, it's late and I had a hell of a waiter at Chili's. Makes you wonder why anyone would go eat at a place that screams heartburn with the big fat chili over the door. Why do we go there? Night kids.
